Get ready for a delightful experience this Christmas season! Matsuya Foods is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the popular character brand, Chiikawa. Beginning January 6, 2026, Matsuya and its tonkatsu restaurant chain Matsunoya will be hosting this limited-time event, which promises to bring special menu items along with exclusive merchandise to fans of both the brand and characters.

Important Customer Guidelines


Matsuya Foods urges participants to refrain from reselling or purchasing for commercial purposes. Additionally, orders will be limited to:
  • - Collaboration Menu: One per person per day
  • - Kid’s Menu: Three per person per day
Flagging in advance that quantities for daily sales are limited, establishments will announce when they have sold out for the day.

To ensure a pleasant experience, customers are kindly requested to avoid food waste or excessive leftovers.

Collaboration Menu Highlights


Main Attraction: Suki Yaki Nabe Set!

The first menu item is the Matsuya Chiikawa Suki Yaki Nabe Zen featuring domestically sourced Japanese black beef. With each order, guests will receive a special original meal ticket keychain, with six different designs available at random.
  • - Eligible Locations: All Matsuya restaurants (sales do not occur at Matsunoya)
  • - Sales Period: January 6, 2026, at 10 AM until supplies last.
  • - Sales Restrictions: Limit of one meal per customer per day.

Kid’s Menu Delight!

During the first campaign phase, customers ordering from the kid's menu can receive a limited edition hand towel, also featuring various designs, upon their first purchase.
  • - Eligible items include:
- Matsuya Kid's Beef Rice Set
- Matsuya Kid's Curry Set
- Matsunoya Kid’s Plate
- Matsunoya Kid’s Pancake Plate
  • - The kid's menu is designed for children aged elementary school and younger.

Upcoming Second Phase: Spicy Curry Delight!


On February 17, 2026, the second menu will be launched: Matsuya Chiikawa Oni Karai Curry, which boasts authentic spices. For each order of this dish, customers will receive a special original figure, with six different designs also offered at random.
  • - And once again, a kid's meal will come with an original sliding puzzle as a gift.

  • - Weekly Draw: 100 lucky customers can win an original collaboration bowl via a web lottery by bringing a receipt of 800 JPY (tax included) or more.
