Neolix Secures Over $600 Million in Series D Funding, Setting Record in China's Autonomous Driving Industry

Neolix Makes History with $600 Million Series D Funding

Neolix, a pioneer in autonomous delivery solutions, has successfully secured over $600 million in a Series D funding round, marking a groundbreaking achievement in the autonomous driving sector in China. This funding round, led by Stone Venture from the UAE, highlights the significant investor confidence and the company's rapid growth since its establishment in 2018.

Since its inception, Neolix has emerged as the world's largest provider of Level 4 (L4) autonomous delivery vehicles, often referred to as RoboVans. The latest funding represents the largest private capital raise in China's autonomous driving industry to date, and one of the most notable investments in the country this year. Key investors include Gaocheng Capital, CITIC Capital, CDH, and many others, all eager to support Neolix's ambitious growth plans.

The newly raised funds are intended for further advancing Neolix’s proprietary driving algorithms, accelerating the development of new commercial applications, enhancing the service network and user experience, and propelling global expansion initiatives. Neolix has seen impressive growth metrics, having delivered over 10,000 L4 RoboVans, far exceeding its competitors and achieving a staggering record of 2,000 vehicle deliveries in a single month.

Operating in more than 300 cities across China, Neolix has established itself as a leader in autonomous deliveries, with Qingdao being home to over 1,200 units. The demand for its flagship models, the X3 and X6, is evident as each has surpassed 4,000 units sold, confirming Neolix's strong market presence.

In terms of innovation, Neolix has rolled out several cutting-edge technologies: its AI model, Neolix-VA, ensures seamless navigation through complex urban traffic, while a cardless driving system provides flexibility for city logistics. Additionally, the company has developed a smart dispatch platform that optimizes the coordination of vehicles, roads, and tasks. With a fleet that has collectively covered over 50 million kilometers in autonomous operation, Neolix's advancements are transformative within the logistics landscape.

Since receiving the first autonomous delivery license in China in 2021, Neolix has grown exponentially, claiming over 60% market share of cumulative deliveries and catering to more than 300,000 customers. The company is also broadening its horizons by venturing into fresh produce, cold chain logistics, and instant delivery niches, further solidifying its dominance in the industry.

On a global scale, Neolix's expansion strategy has seen it partner with a technology firm based in Abu Dhabi, successfully obtaining the first RoboVan license in the United Arab Emirates. This milestone not only signifies Neolix’s international ambitions but also reflects its commitment to bringing innovative delivery solutions to markets beyond China's borders. As the autonomous driving industry continues to evolve, Neolix stands at the forefront, pushing the boundaries and redefining the logistics ecosystem.
