Piko Provisions Unveils New Stage 3 Purées for Nutritional Growth

Piko Provisions Broadens Nutritional Spectrum for Growing Families

HONOLULU, Feb 4, 2026 — Piko Provisions, a dedicated baby and family food company from Hawaiʻi, has made a significant stride in nourishing young families with the launch of its Stage 3 Purée line. This new product line is thoughtfully designed to cater to toddlers' evolving nutritional requirements while encouraging adventurous eating through bold flavors that celebrate the rich diversity of Hawaiʻi's food culture.

The freshly launched purées include enticing flavors such as Lū'au Stew, Palaʻai Pie, and Pitaya Bowl. Each recipe is developed using whole, locally sourced ingredients like kabocha squash, banana, and taro, ensuring high nutritional value that satisfies both taste and health standards. The innovative formulations not only adhere to but exceed global nutrition recommendations for early childhood development, boasting enhanced protein and healthy fat content, while maintaining smooth textures that are appealing to both toddlers and their parents.

Ethan West, founder and CEO of Piko Provisions, expressed pride in their new products, stating, "At Piko Provisions, our constant aim has been to nourish families while uplifting local farmers and respecting the ingredients cultivated here at home. Our Stage 3 purées mark an essential step in our journey—offering foods that are both delightful and densely packed with nutrients. We are proud to collaborate with amazing local partners who share our vision of fostering a fair and sustainable food future."

The new purée line was developed in collaboration with the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center (WVAPDC). This partnership signifies a commitment to advancing Hawaiʻi's local food systems, enhancing accessibility to quality nourishment for families throughout the islands and beyond. Hailey Zhou, Product Development Manager at WVAPDC, commented, "Working with Piko Provisions has been immensely rewarding. We focused on flavors that honor Hawaiʻi's culinary heritage while ensuring exceptional nutritional quality. This collaboration reinforces our shared dedication to supporting the local food community."

In line with its commitment to quality and safety, Piko Provisions ensures its products are free from artificial preservatives and fillers. Rigorous third-party testing for heavy metals, alongside food safety checks, underscores the company's vow to ingredient integrity and transparency. Since its establishment, the company has successfully supplied over 500,000 meals, partnered with more than 200 local farmers, and expanded its reach to over 300 retail partners nationwide, including Foodland, Whole Foods Market, Farm Link Hawaii, and military commissaries across Hawaiʻi.

The introduction of the Stage 3 line aligns with Piko Provisions' mission to create wholesome, local food accessible to all stages of life while championing regenerative agriculture, empowering farmers to be price-setters rather than price-takers.

Currently, the purées can be ordered online at pikoprovisions.com, with availability expanding to select retail partners across Hawaiʻi, including Foodland and Foodland Farms stores, later this month.
