Transforming Education with Generative AI: A Future-Focused Seminar
Date and Time: February 22, 2026 | 13:00 - 16:30
Location: Tokyo Innovation Base, Chiyoda, Tokyo
In recent years, the rapid advancement of generative AI has significantly impacted various sectors, including education. As we move towards a future where AI technologies evolve, the importance of equipping educators with the right tools and knowledge becomes increasingly evident. This is why the upcoming seminar, "Creating Future Education with AI," will address critical gaps faced by educational institutions in AI integration.
Seminar Background
The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has revised guidelines concerning the implementation of generative AI in education, aiming to promote its use effectively by December 2024. In parallel, a survey conducted by the Educational AI Utilization Association revealed that while almost 90% of educational institutions express interest in AI, only about 40% have taken concrete steps toward implementation. This disparity highlights the necessity for a platform where educators can gather, share insights, and develop actionable strategies.
Focus Areas
The seminar will address concerns specific to different stakeholders involved in education:
1.
For Administrators: Developing operational rules based on new guidelines, managing risks, and fostering a culture of innovation among staff.
2.
For Educators: Practical applications of generative AI for streamlining administrative tasks, creating teaching materials, and guiding students effectively.
