Ace Networks to Showcase Innovative Lightweight Solar Panels at PV EXPO 2026

Ace Networks Showcases Revolutionary Solar Technology at PV EXPO 2026

Ace Networks Inc., led by CEO Osamu Hoshika, is gearing up for a significant presence at the upcoming PV EXPO 2026. This premier international solar power exhibition will take place from September 9 to 11, 2026, at Makuhari Messe, where the company will introduce two innovative products: a lightweight flexible solar panel and a lightweight silicon glass panel. Notably, the latter will make its debut at this event.

Expanding Solar Potential with Lightweight Solutions

The lightweight flexible solar panel stands out for its slim design that minimizes the weight burden on buildings. This feature significantly broadens the installation possibilities in structures where traditional solar panels would be difficult to place due to weight and structural limitations. Ace Networks emphasizes adaptability in installation methods, offering various adhesive and mounting techniques suited to different roof types.

At the exhibition, attendees will witness the panel's capabilities firsthand, with specifications highlighting a maximum output of 560W and a conversion efficiency of 23%. This advancement represents a substantial leap forward in solar technology, making it much easier to integrate solar solutions in a variety of architectural environments.

In addition to the flexible solar panel, Ace Networks will showcase a new lightweight silicon glass panel for the first time. Weighing approximately 7.3kg/m², this panel achieves a remarkable 40% weight reduction compared to previous models while maintaining a robust maximum output of 520W and an efficiency of 23.4%. The use of 1.6mm reinforced glass on the front and glass-fiber reinforced polymer in the frame provides both lightweight benefits and durability, offering a practical solution for modern energy needs.

Both panels are designed with future deployment in mind, ensuring they meet the demands of various building types and roof conditions.

Next-Generation Energy Solutions

In line with its innovative direction, Ace Networks will also present several cutting-edge energy solutions, including an ultra-low power AI solar surveillance camera. Unlike traditional systems, this camera is developed to operate efficiently using solar power, enabling prolonged functionality. By utilizing low-power chips, the camera is capable of running for extended periods due to its integrated solar panels and internal battery.

Moreover, the AI features allow for detection of people, vehicles, and animals, making it suitable for challenging environments, such as construction sites, farmland, and remote areas lacking stable electricity.

Additionally, Ace Networks will exhibit a LP gas fuel cell as part of their exploration of decentralized energy systems, showcasing its utility in emergency situations and as a part of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

Lastly, the hydrogen bicycle will illustrate the potential for hydrogen as a clean energy source for future mobility solutions.

Pioneering the Future of Energy

Through its participation in PV EXPO, Ace Networks aims to highlight its mission of expanding solar energy applications. The introduction of the flexible and silicon glass solar panels signifies a commitment to innovation tailored to diverse building needs.

The company seeks to combine energy generation with IoT technology, enabling new solutions focused on generating, storing, and utilizing energy effectively.
