CBDfx Study Shows THC Can Reduce Stress by 68% Among Americans

CBDfx’s Insightful Survey on Stress and THC Usage

Introduction

In a recent survey conducted by CBDfx in collaboration with Talker Research, findings reveal a significant drop in stress levels among THC users. The report highlights not only the effectiveness of THC and CBD in stress management but also sheds light on other microstressors affecting Americans today.

The Survey Overview

Administered online between April 30 and May 8, 2025, this survey gathered insights from 2,000 Americans who have tried either CBD or THC products. The objective was to understand how these substances impact daily stress and quality of life. The insights garnered are essential for highlighting the increasing relevance of CBD and THC in contemporary wellness routines.

Stress Levels on the Rise

One of the most startling findings was that nearly 67% of respondents reported an increased sensitivity to stress as compared to five years ago. Among the contributing factors are rising living costs, which 47% of participants identified as a significant stressor, followed closely by being late due to traffic (40%) and miscommunications (39%).

The Effects of CBD and THC

The survey reveals that about 20% of participants consume CBD gummies daily, while 30% regularly use THC products as a stress management strategy. On average, THC users reported a remarkable 68% reduction in stress levels, while those using CBD gummies observed a more than 54% decrease.

Jameson Rodgers, co-founder of CBDfx, noted, "The calming effect of CBD on the body’s endocannabinoid system significantly helps mitigate stress levels, while THC’s mood-lifting properties further enhance this relief."

Microstressors: Little Things Matter

In addition to major stressors, the survey identified everyday microstressors affecting Americans. Noteworthy items on the list include:
  • - 46% feel stressed seeing acquaintances they prefer to avoid.
  • - 44% get anxious at unexpected knocks on the door.
  • - 43% express discomfort when interrupted by conversations while craving silence.
  • - 40% are significantly stressed by slow Wi-Fi or loud chewing sounds.
  • - Other common irritants include unexpected phone calls (34%) and notifications during meetings (15%).

Impact on Life Quality

A considerable 73% of respondents stated that stress negatively affects their quality of life. Even more alarmingly, 77% indicated that their sleep quality suffers as a direct consequence of stress. To mitigate these challenges, individuals typically take CBD gummies thrice weekly, with 16% relying on them nightly. THC product usage averages four nights a week, with 29% utilizing them nightly.

Natural Solutions for Better Sleep

Rodgers added, "Chronic lack of sleep exacerbates stress and can lead to detrimental long-term health effects. The calming properties of CBD not only alleviate stress but also contribute positively to sleep quality, especially when combined with natural sleep aids like melatonin and chamomile."

Conclusion

With the stigma surrounding CBD and THC waning—58% of respondents acknowledged this shift—it's clear that these natural remedies hold a critical place in the future of stress relief. As people become more aware of their mental health and the tools available for improving it, the integration of CBD and THC into their lifestyles is likely to become more prominent. This survey not only emphasizes the effectiveness of these products but also highlights the need for ongoing discussions about mental health and wellness in America.
