Exciting Writing Contest: 'My Cool Younger Boss' for April Dream Initiative

Writing Contest: 'My Cool Younger Boss'

In line with the April Dream initiative aimed at promoting aspirations and dreams on April 1st, we are excited to announce the launch of the 'My Cool Younger Boss' writing contest, spearheaded by the Japan Industrial Gerontology Association. This competition seeks to address the modern challenges of workforce diversity and the changing dynamics in the workplace, especially the growing presence of younger managers leading older subordinates.

Purpose of the Contest

As organizations face labor shortages and the diversification of careers, the dynamics between older subordinates and younger bosses have become crucial for growth. This contest invites entries that showcase experiences of respect and professionalism that transcend age biases. The goal is to recognize exemplary cases as successful models of Industrial Gerontology, thereby introducing new cultural paradigms within Japanese organizations.
