Celebrating 3 Years of Community Growth at me:rise Tachikawa
On February 1, 2026, me:rise Tachikawa, a co-working and incubation office, marked its third anniversary. Managed by AGORA Co., Ltd., which operates in collaboration with Tama Shinkin Bank since February 2023, the milestone was celebrated with a special event,
3rd Anniversary THANKS DAY, held on February 26, 2026. The event saw the participation of 47 individuals, including members and newcomers, showcasing the vibrant exchange opportunities for freelancers, creators, and businesses in the Tama region.
Event Highlights
The anniversary celebration kicked off with a toast, creating a festive atmosphere as participants mingled over delectable dishes from local eateries. Not only long-time members attended, but many first-time visitors also joined, facilitating natural communication through business card exchanges and project presentations.
Delicious Offerings from Local Eateries
The event featured food from popular local restaurants, including:
- - Adam's awesome PIE from Tachikawa City
- - Chuka Okowa Fukuyama from Kunitachi City
- - N Hütte from Fuchu City
Surrounded by these culinary delights, participants shared conversations and forged new connections, enhancing the communal spirit of the event.
Engaging Activities and Talks
In addition to networking, the event included participatory content. An influential figure known as
Tama no Kensaku-chan shared insights on local attractions and the latest trends in the area, engaging attendees with the theme,
“The Tama region is evolving in exciting ways!” Participants expressed that this was a great opportunity to discover the unique charm of Tama.
Furthermore, guests experienced hands-on activities through
Mobati, where they printed smartphone photos to create custom T-shirts and tote bags. This interactive experience encouraged further dialogue among attendees, underlining the event's focus on community building.
Strengthening Community Ties
For freelancers and local businesses, finding opportunities to build new networks can often be a challenge amid their daily routines. The event successfully opened doors for both members and newcomers to share ideas and stories about their work and ventures.
AGORA, the managing company of me:rise Tachikawa, derives its name from the Greek word for “public square.” This explains their vision for not just being a co-working space but a vibrant community hub where local creatives and entrepreneurs can connect and collaborate.
Looking ahead, me:rise Tachikawa aims to continue nurturing a space that fosters connections and innovative initiatives in the Tama region, hosting events and creating opportunities for engagement.
