After a year-long break, the popular character rice ball shop is making its much-anticipated return! From March 13 to April 12, 2024, a special event will be held at the first floor of Yurakucho Marui, showcasing the delightful world of character-themed onigiri and exclusive merchandise. This exciting pop-up will give fans and newcomers alike the chance to indulge in their favorite character rice balls.

A Unique Concept
Founded by Spiceworks Holdings and Haigo, the newly established company, Furikake, brings together the creativity of these companies to create a whimsical dining experience. The pop-up is not just about food; it’s an immersive experience into the vibrant world of the unique characters created by illustrator Yokomizo Yuri, including a delightful selection of rice balls inspired by nature and various elements around us.

Seasonal Delights Await
At the pop-up, visitors can expect seasonal limited-edition items. One standout on the menu this spring is the Sakura Onigiri. As you take a bite, the taste of spring bursts forth. The combination of fragrant sakura shrimp and sweet sakura denbu creates a gentle flavor that lingers on the palate, making each bite unforgettably delicious. Topped with pickled sakura radish for a crisp texture and a subtle tang, this item represents the essence of spring beautifully. Don’t miss out on trying this limited offering that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

An Expanded Menu
The menu now boasts 11 types of onigiri! Patrons can choose combinations from categories A and B, tailoring their meals to their preferences. Some of the offerings include:

• - Category A: Nori Onigiri (Salt), Salmon, Ume (Plum), Tuna Mayo, and Okaka.
• - Category B: Sakura, Boiled Egg, Tempura, Grilled Tarako, Pork Tamago, and Ikura (Salmon Roe) – the latter for an additional charge.

• - A + A: 990 yen (tax included)
• - A + B: 1,190 yen (tax included)
• - B + B: 1,390 yen (tax included)

Reservation Information
In an effort to ensure an enjoyable experience while managing crowd sizes, reservations are recommended. From March 13 to March 15, the pop-up will operate on a fully reserved basis, while March 16 to March 29 will have limited reservation times. Guests looking to purchase rice balls will need to buy a reservation ticket for 330 yen (tax included).

Reservation Tickets Available

• - March 13 – March 15: All-day reservations for rice ball purchases will be required in 30-minute increments.
• - March 16 – March 29: Reservations are required from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and after 2:00 PM, tickets will be distributed from 11 AM at the venue.
