Bespoke Concierge MD Launches Comprehensive Women’s Health Assessment Program

Bespoke Concierge MD Expands Women’s Health Services

Bespoke Concierge MD has recently announced a significant expansion in women's health services by launching a new comprehensive Women's Health Assessment program. This initiative is particularly timely, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and aims to improve the speed of breast health screenings while streamlining follow-up processes and menopause care.

Led by esteemed physicians, Dr. Phyllis Nsiah-Kumi and Dr. Precious Barnes, the program is designed to offer accessible, relationship-based care. It kicks off with a thorough assessment of women’s physical and mental well-being, which can be conducted from the comfort of their homes. The first stage includes screenings that cover essential aspects such as emotional health, nutrition, exercise, and menopause. Following these screenings, participants receive preventive tests and biomarker evaluations to monitor their metabolic and cardiac health.

To empower women in managing their health better, the assessment culminates in a telehealth appointment with residency-trained physicians. This allows women not only to receive convenient healthcare but also to feel confident in their health decisions. "Women don't need another maze—they need a clear path from risk to results," says Dr. Zaid Fadul, CEO of Bespoke Concierge MD. He highlights the need for efficient care, emphasizing that the new program aims to close the gap in women's health services and ensure every individual receives personalized attention.

National statistics reveal a startling fact: one in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer during their lifetime (American Cancer Society). Additionally, approximately 1.3 million women enter menopause every year (NIH/NAMS), yet less than 25% receive appropriate counseling or treatment. Hormone therapy remains the most effective option for many, yet its potential is underutilized.

Reflecting upon these statistics, Dr. Nsiah-Kumi notes that women often bear the health responsibilities for their families while experiencing fragmented or delayed care themselves. She states, "Breast health and menopause care must be personal, timely, and culturally competent. We aim to make it easy to understand your risk, complete the necessary screenings, and clearly outline the next steps."

Further emphasizing the program's holistic approach, Dr. Barnes highlights the importance of physical functionality. "Function matters; when patients breathe and move better, they feel better—and are more likely to follow through on their care. Integrating Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) supports women through screening, treatment, and recovery."

Dr. Phyllis Nsiah-Kumi is well-equipped to lead this initiative, being a women’s health physician with training in both internal medicine and pediatrics, and holding an MPH in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Northwestern University. Dr. Precious Barnes, on the other hand, is a highly qualified hospitalist and educator with certifications in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, along with advanced training in manual medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Science.

To accommodate the growing demand, Bespoke Concierge MD is opening priority new-patient appointments throughout November, in conjunction with locally coordinated imaging referrals.
