Astronergy Launches Cutting-Edge ASTRO N7s 3.0 Solar Module at Intersolar Europe 2026
Astronergy Unveils ASTRO N7s 3.0 at Intersolar Europe 2026
On June 26, 2026, Astronergy revealed its newest flagship residential solar module, the ASTRO N7s 3.0, for the first time globally at Intersolar Europe 2026 held in Berlin. This event marks a significant milestone for the company as it further solidifies its commitment to pioneering high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies suitable for residential use.
The ASTRO N7s 3.0 is designed with larger wafers and features advanced half-cut cells combined with high-density encapsulation technologies, optimizing space utilization between cells to enhance active surface area and electricity generation efficiency. These advancements are powered by Astronergy’s cutting-edge TOPCon 5.0 cell technology, which incorporates various innovations such as ASP, PF, and SNOP technologies, enhancing emitter passivation and hydrogen passivation. As a result, the module significantly improves light absorption and boosts bifacial energy production.
Compared to the previous SMBB 455W modules, the ASTRO N7s 3.0 can generate an impressive additional 440 kWh of green electricity annually. This amount is enough to power typical household appliances, equating to nine loads of laundry, seventeen dishwasher cycles, or seventy-three hours of television viewing each month.
Additionally, this module adopts a flexible high-density interconnection technology with a seamless design that increases active surface area, which in turn improves electrical current collection capacity and overall energy yield. This design also helps distribute mechanical stresses more evenly, significantly reducing the risk of micro-cracks, which is critical for the module's longevity.
To ensure reliable performance in a variety of conditions, the ASTRO N7s 3.0 is built to withstand humidity and corrosion, certified against salt mist, and successfully passed impact resistance tests against hail stones up to 35 mm. It also supports mechanical load capacities of +6,000 Pa/-4,000 Pa. Furthermore, it comes with a robust 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty, ensuring a degradation rate of ≤1% in the first year and ≤0.4% annually thereafter, promising sustainable energy production over its lifespan.
Not only does the performance of the ASTRO N7s 3.0 impress, but its aesthetic is equally appealing, featuring a sleek 20BB all-black design with visually pleasing glass and a black light redirecting film (LRF-B). The lack of visible PAD points allows the module to integrate seamlessly into modern roofing architecture. Its lightweight and compact construction make handling and installation possible by a single individual, a practical advantage for residential rooftops that may have limited installation space.
Manufactured using a low-temperature process that emits no VOC emissions and requires less energy, the ASTRO N7s 3.0 reiterates Astronergy's dedication to sustainable production practices and a carbon-neutral future. With its innovative features and tailored design, the ASTRO N7s 3.0 is poised to lead the solar industry into a new era of efficiency and reliability, further enhancing the prospects for solar energy in residential applications globally.
