Propel Regional Training for Editors in California

The Maynard Institute for Journalism Education is proud to announce its upcoming Propel Regional Training, a free program tailored for editors and managers. This enriching event will take place in Burbank, California, from October 22 to 24, 2026. Collaborating with California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and the Tom and Ethel Bradley Center, this training aims to enhance the skills of journalists from diverse backgrounds.

The Propel program offers two and a half days of intensive training focused on editorial and management skills, community building, and guidance tailored for media professionals. The setup is geared toward both frontline editors and those mid-career, as well as students working across various platforms such as print, broadcast, digital, and audio media.
