The company, which is managed by Welcome Co., Ltd. and based in Minato, Tokyo, has teamed up with Jennifer Latham, the former director of Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, to innovate its bread products. This partnership has led to the development of a fresh category of bread, encapsulated within the concept of “New Classic Bread”. The newly designed “Two Country Bread” represents a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, making it a staple for any household.
This season, DEAN & DELUCA is focusing on the beloved Japanese staple: white bread. Enhancing the flavor of wheat, the brand has revisited the concept of bread and worked closely with Jennifer Latham to reimagine everything from wheat selection to fermentation and baking. The result is the “Craft Bread”, designed to bring out the delightful taste of wheat, perfectly complementing any breakfast table.

In addition to the craft bread, the company is launching several delicious jams made from seasonal fruits sourced directly from patisseries. The new flavors of the original “Daily Jam” include strawberry and citrus made from locally-sourced ingredients. Elevating breakfast is the newly enhanced “Everyday Jam” range, which uses beautiful yet unsellable fruits from farms. There’s also a revamped Crunchy Peanut Cream with more peanuts for an intensified nutty flavor that perfectly complements breakfast.
