UJC Summit 2026: Prominent Speakers Announced for NYC Event

UJC Summit 2026: A Transformative Event in New York City

The United Justice Coalition (UJC) in collaboration with Roc Nation has unveiled the initial roster of inspiring speakers for the upcoming UJC Summit, scheduled for October 17, 2026, at The Shed in New York City. This gathering aims to address pressing issues within the criminal justice system and to foster actionable strategies for meaningful change in communities across the nation.

With a commitment to inclusivity, the summit is free of charge, and organizers anticipate attracting over 1,000 attendees eager to engage in conversations that challenge the status quo. The list of confirmed speakers includes notable figures such as Angela Rye, the CEO of IMPACT Strategies; Jessica Jackson, CEO of REFORM Alliance; and media personality Charlamagne Tha God, known for his work on "The Breakfast Club." Additional speakers include respected academics and justice advocates like Dr. Michael Eric Dyson and Dr. Jelani Cobb, along with judicial leaders such as Judge Ginger Lerner-Wren and Judge Victoria Pratt.

The summit will consist of various panels and discussions that unite policymakers, educators, legal experts, and individuals who have been directly affected by the justice system. These conversations aim to share insights and develop initiatives that can bring about significant reform. As more speakers and programming are confirmed, the UJC delegation encourages attendees to participate actively in these essential dialogues.

One of the highlights of the UJC Summit will be the opportunity for attendees to connect with representatives from over 40 organizations dedicated to criminal justice reform. Participating organizations include the Innocence Project, Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), among others. This exhibition area not only showcases the work of these organizations but also offers attendees practical steps to engage in justice-related issues within their communities.

Past UJC Summit events have featured an array of influential speakers, and this year's summit continues that trend, striving to uphold a platform for important conversations surrounding justice equity and reform. As the event nears, the UJC is committed to announcing additional speakers, panelists, and detailed programming aimed at enriching the experience of all attendees.

Doors will open at 10 AM ET at The Shed, providing an open environment for dialogue and collaboration. To stay updated on the event and for registration details, interested individuals can visit United Justice Coalition's official website.
