Chiba Mirai Living Migration Consultation Event from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Tokyo Transportation Hall, 8th Floor (Furusato Kaiki Shien Center, Seminar Room B/C/D). This event is perfect for individuals interested in relocating to various towns and cities within Chiba.
What to Expect
The event features participation from 13 municipalities in Chiba: Katori City, Tateyama City, Asahi City, Katsuura City, Kimitsu City, Futtsu City, Sosa City, Sanmu City, Isumi City, Tako Town, Higashisho Town, Kujukuri Town, and Chonan Town. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with municipal representatives concerning housing, job opportunities, childcare, and lifestyle in their prospective new homes.
Whether you're keen to discover multiple municipalities or looking for a region that aligns with your lifestyle, this consultation event is tailored for you. Even if you're merely in the information-gathering stage, we encourage you to attend!
Event Schedule:
- - 4:00 PM: Opening Reception
- - 4:00 PM - 5:10 PM: Regional Presentations by Participating Municipalities
- - 5:10 PM - 7:30 PM: Consultation Booths open for individual consultations
- Session (1): 5:15 PM - 5:45 PM
- Session (2): 5:50 PM - 6:20 PM
- Session (3): 6:25 PM - 6:55 PM
- Session (4): 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Registration Information
The event is open to everyone interested in relocating. Reservations for personal consultations are prioritized, with a limit of 52 groups. If you wish to consult with multiple municipalities, you may do so; however, adjustments in scheduling will be made if demand exceeds availability.
To participate, please fill out the application form by February 26, 2026, ensuring your spot for personalized consultation. Confirmation of your consultation time, if registered before the deadline, will be emailed to you by February 27.
Important Notes
Since slots may fill up quickly, early registration is encouraged. If slots are full before the deadline, the application may close early, or you might receive a notice regarding a lack of availability after application submission.
Additionally, we kindly ask for your cooperation with guest surveys and photography during the event. All photo sessions will be managed with careful consideration to maintain participant anonymity. Please note that photos may be used in the city’s promotional materials or by media outlets.

The Chiba Mirai Migration Consultation Event is a collaborative initiative led by various municipalities in Chiba. This event aims to facilitate personal consultations, and before consultations commence, we have dedicated presentation time for each municipality.
