On July 25, 2026, the innovative career education program 'Mitsuke Iro' was successfully hosted as a side event at the prestigious TECH BEAT Shizuoka 2026. Organized by SenseDrive Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Career Vision Lab, this event showcased a unique opportunity for participants to discover the hidden attractions of local businesses in Shizuoka.

Purpose and Concept of Mitsuke Iro



'Mitsuke Iro' is designed to activate participants' enthusiasm and curiosity by providing immersive work experiences. Its goal is to highlight the unique qualities of local enterprises in a format that encourages active engagement. Supported by the Shizuoka Prefectural Government and Shizuoka Newspaper and Broadcasting Corporation, the event aimed to foster an environment where new ideas and challenges could emerge collaboratively.

Major Outcomes of the Event


Corporate Reputation Enhancement: An impressive 90.5% of participants noted that their impression of the exhibiting companies improved considerably. Many shared their experiences, saying, "I learned the incredible skills of professionals through hands-on experiences," and indicated that 100% would recommend the event to friends and family.
Growth Among Volunteer Students: Over 90% of the high school students involved in volunteer roles reported personal growth. These young individuals not only supported event operations but also engaged deeply with the companies’ philosophies and techniques, becoming fans of the organizations they represented. They displayed initiative and displayed a sense of entrepreneurship by creatively adapting to challenges throughout the event.

Breaking Through Limitations with Recycling Experiments (Provided by ECC Center): Under the motto, "Let’s try instead of saying we can’t!", participants tackled efficiency challenges in hand-sorting recycling using LEGO blocks, raising environmental awareness in a family-friendly environment.

Team-Based Plastering Experience (Provided by Muramatsu Plastering Industry): Participants discovered the importance of teamwork and creativity in craftsmanship while physically engaging in wall painting tasks. Using authentic plastering materials, many were so captivated that they returned for a second round of experience.

Extracting Job Appeal Experience (Provided by SenseDrive): Attendees learned professional questioning techniques that uncover hidden aspects of jobs. Through proactive engagement, they discovered unseen job appeal, providing them a fresh perspective on potential career paths.

* Career Vision Lab and Shizuoka Factory Expo: The event featured display panels and materials such as the 'Social Person Encyclopedia' and 'Shizuoka Job Encyclopedia', offering insights into the diverse pathways and career essences of local adults. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their future and the meaning of work through this interactive exhibit.
