ALTA Good Deeds Foundation Grants Community Impact

The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation, a nonprofit established by the American Land Title Association (ALTA), recently took a significant step to support community development by announcing grants totaling $120,000. This endeavor involves financial support for 20 different nonprofit organizations nationwide, each receiving a grant of $6,000 to foster local initiatives aimed at enhancing community welfare.

Empowering Local Organizations

The foundation's mission is rooted in the belief that local organizations are pivotal in creating lasting impacts when they are adequately funded and supported. Steve Day NTP, the board chair of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation and a former president of ALTA, emphasized the importance of recognizing and supporting organizations that work tirelessly to uplift their communities. In his statement, he noted, "ALTA members are acutely aware of the needs within their communities, and it is an honor to contribute to the efforts of the organizations they nominate."

The grants were officially announced on October 14 during ALTA ONE, the annual conference for the American Land Title Association, held in Scottsdale, Arizona. The foundation has already made significant strides since its inception in 2020, distributing over $1.6 million in grants across 48 states and the District of Columbia.
