SIMFLO Partners with Central American Cities for Water Infrastructure Boost

SIMFLO Expands Water Infrastructure in Central America

Lubbock, Texas's own SIMFLO, recognized globally for its innovative solutions in vertical and submersible turbine pumps, has made significant strides in expanding its operations into Latin America. Recently, they have been chosen to undertake a major municipal water project in El Salvador aimed at fortifying the region's water delivery systems.

The initiative will see SIMFLO supply high-efficiency vertical turbine pump bowl assemblies specifically designed to support municipal water systems and well construction across four critical regions: Western, Central, Eastern, and the San Salvador Metropolitan area. This distribution is vital for municipalities relying on efficient and reliable water services to meet the needs of local populations.

To cater to the diverse requirements of the well construction and maintenance processes, SIMFLO has introduced 1800 RPM vertical turbine models that include stainless steel impellers and conical strainers, tailored for well diameters from 10 to 14 inches. The company has partnered with local distributors to ensure that technical support, rapid quotes, and prompt delivery are integral to their service, tackling the long-standing issues of service delays and inadequate support often experienced with legacy suppliers.

According to Leo Villanueva, the Latin America Sales Manager at SIMFLO, the municipal water systems in Central America necessitate equipment that is not just dependable but comes with rapid service and clear communication channels. "Our strategy is straightforward: we prioritize being easy to work with. By providing our distributors with quick quotes, inventory assistance, and direct access to our engineering expertise, we reassure local communities that their water infrastructure will function smoothly without unnecessary interruptions,” he stated.

The project reflects SIMFLO's commitment to enhancing its presence throughout Latin America, expanding further into countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. As demand for efficient water management escalates across agricultural, municipal, and industrial sectors in the region, SIMFLO's approach combines high-performance equipment with direct engineering support, a competitive advantage that addresses the urgent needs of these growing markets.

Villanueva emphasized that establishing collaborative partnerships in Central America and beyond depends significantly on a shared commitment to quality at every project phase. He expressed pride in supporting clients and local communities by delivering reliable pumping infrastructures essential for long-term water security.
