From May 16 to 17, 2025, Gotion held its much-anticipated Global Technology Conference, where it unveiled an impressive lineup of six pioneering energy products. A highlight of the event was the completion of the pilot production line for its solid-state battery named GEMSTONE.
Significant Milestone for GEMSTONE
The GEMSTONE battery, launched in 2024, has achieved a major milestone with the successful completion of a 0.2 GWh pilot production line. The production line boasts an impressive yield rate of 90%. The battery’s 2025 iteration demonstrates remarkable advancements, featuring a 60% enhancement in ionic conductivity of the sulfide electrolyte, a 150% increase in cell capacity, and a remarkable 90% reduction in stacking pressure pre-stress. Stringent safety tests such as nail penetration tests and crush tests have validated the battery's reliability and safety, leading to the initiation of road tests.
The G-Yuan Battery: Exceptional Range and Safety
Another groundbreaking innovation unveiled was the G-Yuan battery, which boasts an extraordinary range of over 1,000 kilometers for electric vehicles. With an energy density of 300 Wh/kg, it incorporates an exclusive adaptive solid-solid interface technology that ensures stable ion transport. Notably, this battery also passed a 3 mm steel nail penetration test, confirming its exceptional safety. This world-first high-capacity battery for heavy-duty vehicles sports an energy density of 175 Wh/kg and a temperature control range from -40°C to 65°C. Notably, its groundbreaking “zero-decay” technology ensures no capacity degradation over the initial 3,000 cycles, providing no energy loss over 1.2 million kilometers with an impressive lifespan of 12 years or 10,000 cycles.
Q Network: Revolutionary Energy Storage System
The Q Network 20 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is another noteworthy addition, offering a record capacity of 20 MWh per unit and a lifespan of 25 years. Its modular design not only saves space but also provides substantial capacity. The innovative Air+Liquid cooling system enhances thermal management, while a seven-tier security protection framework guarantees reliability under extreme conditions. Utilizing AI-assisted management technology, it ensures optimal performance for energy storage needs.
Astroinno Gen-2 Battery: The Future of Rapid Charging
The newly introduced Astroinno Gen-2 battery features a world-first LMFP composition, enabling ultra-fast charges within just 10 minutes. With an energy density of 240 Wh/kg, this battery maintains a cold retention capacity of 93% at -20°C. Going through comprehensive thermal runaway tests at the pack level, it ensures safety and efficiency for electric vehicles with requirements of up to 850 km for BEVs and over 1,500 km for REEVs.
Axtrem: AI-Powered Industrial Innovation
