HATTRICK and Tokyo Verdy: A Green Initiative
In a bid to promote sustainability and bolster community initiatives,
HATTRICK, run by Valuence Japan, is launching the
Tokyo Verdy Upcycling Auction from August 22 to August 24, 2025. This auction will feature unique products crafted from jerseys worn by Tokyo Verdy players during the 2024 season. The items on auction include shoulder bags, sacoche bags, and tote bags, each adorned with the players' signatures, adding a personal touch for fans.
Tokyo Verdy is a professional football club based in the J1 League, representing Tokyo as its home base. In recent years, the club has been actively engaged in multiple sustainability initiatives, one of which is the
GREEN RELAY PROJECT. This project focuses on collecting unused clothing from supporters and repurposing it into new supporter merchandise, aligning with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The partnership with HATTRICK represents an expansion of these environmental efforts. With the upcoming auction, the 2024 season jerseys are being reimagined into functional and stylish everyday bags, thus breathing new life into items that would typically be discarded. This initiative not only aims to reduce waste but also seeks to contribute positively to local communities and the environment.
