Meet the Winners

Brittanie Reynaud

Brittanie Reynaud is a full-time nursing student and a mother of four, skillfully juggling her intensive studies with a deep commitment to service. She regularly volunteers at local nursing homes and participates in community health initiatives, demonstrating her passion for helping others. One of her notable contributions includes her involvement in the annual Crawfish Étouffée Cook-off, an event aimed at boosting local community development. Furthermore, Brittanie serves as a mentor to fellow nursing students, actively engages in hospital training programs, and supports veterinary fundraisers for animal shelters.

With aspirations to specialize in critical care or community health nursing, Brittanie aims to extend her outreach through various public health initiatives. Robby Piper, Principal at The Storage Center, expressed admiration for Brittanie's dedication, stating, “Her ability to navigate personal challenges while giving back to the community shines through.”

Frank Clavelle III

Frank Clavelle III is recognized not only for his academic achievements but also for his extensive leadership roles at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. As a Presidential Student Ambassador and Vice President of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students, Frank has made significant strides in advocating for diversity within his field. His commitment to serving the community extends through his mentorship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana and participation in Habitat for Humanity projects, where he has helped construct homes for families in need.

Frank's global perspective is enriched by his studies abroad in cities like Paris and Seoul. He has even participated in an AI and education panel at the prestigious Sorbonne University and is currently interning with a civil and human rights organization. Frank's ambition is to become one of UL Lafayette's few Rhodes Scholars, utilizing this platform to advocate for social equity and empowerment.
