DEAN & DELUCA's Charity Tote Bag Initiative: A Bag for Happiness 2025

As the holiday season approaches, DEAN & DELUCA, operated by Welcome Co., Ltd. in Minato, Tokyo, is delighted to announce the launch of its 2025 limited-edition charity tote bags. Starting November 1, 2025, these special bags will be available at their market and cafe locations, the official online store, and official EC mall stores (such as Rakuten Ichiba). Early access through a lottery will also be offered on the online platform.

The charity program, titled "A BAG FOR HAPPINESS," aims to spread joy through food to children worldwide. DEAN & DELUCA partners with the international NGO Save the Children to engage in charitable activities focused on nourishing future generations. This year, the project targets Vatomandry in southeastern Madagascar, where children face nutritional deficiencies due to natural disasters. A portion of the sales from each tote bag purchased will be donated to Save the Children to support local farmers and strengthen maternal and child nutrition systems.

The charity tote bags for 2025 come in two distinct color options: Lapis Blue and Cafe au Lait.

Lapis Blue Tote Bag

Support for Future Generations

By purchasing these tote bags, customers play a crucial role in supporting children's present and future well-being. Save the Children works towards a world where all children's rights are respected, targeting vulnerable populations. In 2024, their efforts will provide support to over 41 million children across approximately 110 countries, including Japan.

How to Purchase

• - Sales Period: November 1, 2025, until stocks last. The online store will begin selling at 11:00 AM on the same day, with Rakuten Ichiba starting on November 4.
• - Availability: Limited to market stores, cafe locations, the official online store, and official EC mall store (except for Narita Airport's second terminal satellite, Bakery Musashisakai, and Hirokoji Honmachi).
• - Purchase Limit: Each customer can buy up to five bags of each color and size. Reservations aren't accepted.

Online Lottery Pre-sale

To manage access to the online store during the release, an early lottery pre-sale will be held. Customers can enter to win the chance to purchase before the general public.

• - Entry Period: October 24 to October 26, 2025, ending at 23:59.
• - Access: Lottery winners will receive information to access the pre-sale.
