AUGER's Support for an Unforgettable Night
On October 25, 2025, the well-known grooming tool brand
AUGER, under the global cutting tool manufacturer
Kai Corporation, played a significant role in the special live event
"BRUTUS LOVE SONG NIGHT with AUGER", held on the rooftop of the iconic
Ginza Sony Park. This event marked the conclusion of a month-long exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of
Magazine House.
A Night of Love Songs
The evening was dedicated to love songs, featuring live performances tailored to this special theme. The live concert was a part of the
"Magazine House Exhibition," held from October 10 to 25, 2025, and was exclusively for members of
WITHBRUTUS, a community under Magazine House.
This spectacular night featured performances by singer-songwriters
Yuka and
Yasuyuki Okamura. Their acts resonated with the spirit of the upcoming issue of
BRUTUS, which had a love song special edition releasing on October 15. The atmosphere was electric as the crowd enjoyed heartfelt renditions of beloved tracks.
Yuka's Mesmerizing Performance
Kicking off the night was
Yuka, who captivated the audience with her acoustic guitar. She performed several songs including the unreleased
"All the Words You Said" and her first-ever song composed at the age of 18, titled
"Love". The warm and expansive range of her voice intertwined beautifully with the sounds of the bustling cityscapes around them, creating a serene ambiance. Yuka showcased a total of six songs, including
"Meguru" and a cover of
Bette Midler's "The Rose", intertwining personal sentiment in her heartfelt tribute to her late grandmother with the song
"Tsubaki". These thirty minutes were filled with tranquil and beautiful moments.
Okamura's Energetic Return
Following Yuka,
Yasuyuki Okamura stormed the stage in a striking red shirt and black suit. He opened with his lively track
"I Want to Stay as Innocent as Possible", instantly raising the energy of the audience. With cheers echoing, he continued with his timeless hits such as
"Unruly Age",
"Be Nice and Kind to Your Boyfriend", and
"Nineteen". At one moment, he even handed the microphone to a member of the audience, allowing them to join in the sing-along, which added to the electrifying atmosphere of the event. As the night reached its climax during the encore, Okamura performed a powerful cover of
Roberta Flack's "Feel Like Makin’ Love." Without a break for commentary, he delivered a total of nine songs with full energy.
Interacting with AUGER’s Products
In addition to the mesmerizing performances, attendees had the opportunity to engage with AUGER’s product line. One section of the venue featured an exhibit where guests could explore and handle various grooming tools. After the concert, participants were given samples of AUGER's system razors and an eyebrow shaping razor set, allowing them to dive deeper into the world of AUGER and appreciate the quality of their products firsthand.
