Strategic Partnership Between SAKIGAKE JAPAN and DEA
Two innovative companies, SAKIGAKE JAPAN and Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA), have embarked on a strategic partnership to address global issues by harnessing Japan's valuable disaster knowledge and lessons. Together, they aim to convert potentially vanishing wisdom into globally accessible solutions, especially in light of the increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters driven by climate change.
Uniting Strengths for Global Impact
The collaboration leverages SAKIGAKE JAPAN’s ability to organize data through AI—facilitating the "power to deliver to the world"—and DEA’s expertise in gamification for participation—essentially the "power to gather" knowledge. Through this partnership, both companies plan to host the
PicTrée Disaster Championship 2026, set to kick off in August 2026, utilizing DEA's participatory game platform, PicTrée, and the local community knowledge platform,
Gotouchi Himitsu Agent.
This initiative aims to compile a wealth of disaster experiences and preparedness wisdom from across Japan, which will be scrutinized and analyzed by SAKIGAKE JAPAN, leading to a collective effort in developing IP content business strategies.
Addressing the Forgotten Knowledge
Accelerating climate change has led to an uptick in natural disasters, further exacerbating the loss of traditional disaster knowledge peculiar to Japan. Despite Japan being a disaster-prone nation, the experiences and know-how often remain undocumented, slipping into obscurity. While invaluable local knowledge lives in the memories of its people and communities, there exists a glaring absence of systemic documentation.
The aim of this partnership is to thoroughly organize and standardize Japan's disaster knowledge, making it a valuable resource for communities worldwide suffering from the ravages of climate change. By combining SAKIGAKE JAPAN's strength in information structuring with DEA's gamification tactics, they are set to create a comprehensive collaborative scheme.
The Big Vision: Transforming Knowledge into Global Assets
Ultimately, the partnership aims to convert Japan's scattered and dwindling disaster memories into a standardized knowledge asset of global significance. SAKIGAKE JAPAN will act as a hub, bridging connections with publishers, media outlets, educational organizations, and international agencies to facilitate the global rollout of
Disaster Knowledge Cards as a multifaceted intellectual property.
Phase 1 (2026)
- - Large-scale collection and card creation of private disaster knowledge through the PicTrée Disaster Championship and Gotouchi Himitsu Agent.
Phase 2 (2027 onwards)
- - Intellectual property development for disaster knowledge cards, including publishing, digital dissemination, and commercialization across education, entertainment, and B2B sectors.
Phase 3 (Long-term)
- - Implementing standardized solutions globally based on AI analysis, establishing Japan's disaster knowledge as a global standard.
