CNTE Introduces Cutting-Edge STAR H-MAX Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage Solution at Intersolar Europe 2026

Introduction to CNTE's STAR H-MAX

At the recently held Intersolar Europe 2026 event in Munich, Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) showcased its latest technological advancement, the STAR H-MAX. This next-generation liquid-cooled commercial and industrial energy storage system represents a significant addition to CNTE's MWh+ energy storage portfolio, tailored for diverse global markets. The STAR H-MAX can be seen at booth C2.450 from June 23 to 25, 2026.

Key Features

The STAR H-MAX has a capacity of 220kW / 440kWh, elegantly designed into a compact, all-in-one outdoor architecture. This construction helps businesses optimize energy use through peak-valley arbitrage while also providing backup power and facilitating efficient grid interaction.

Powered by CATL LFP 530Ah battery cells, the STAR H-MAX boasts an impressive lifespan exceeding 10,000 cycles. It supports dual configurations of both 0.5P and 0.25P, enabling users to adapt their energy supply strategy—balancing power output and duration according to various operational needs.

An appealing aspect of this system is its transformer-free design. It allows for direct load integration suitable for commercial and industrial applications, drastically minimizing installation complexity, deployment expenses, and space requirements. Each unit occupies just 2.03m², yet can be expanded to a remarkable 4.4MWh, proving ideal for factories, industrial hubs, and distributed energy projects.

Advanced Features for Enhanced Performance

To ensure seamless operation across varying environmental conditions, the STAR H-MAX incorporates state-of-the-art AI smart temperature control technology. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to 55°C, ensuring that cell temperature disparities remain within a precise 3°C margin. With a noise level of only 65dB, the system is suited for environments where sound sensitivity is a concern.

For additional energy reliability and advanced grid services, the STAR H-MAX features an STS technology, enabling smooth transitions between grid-connected and off-grid operations. It provides rapid frequency regulation responses of under 250ms at the system level, catering to applications such as aFRR, mFRR, and FCR.

Certifications and Global Reach

Assuring users of its safety and efficiency, the STAR H-MAX has garnered various international certifications, including IEC 62619, IEC 63056, IEC 60730-1, IEC 62477-1, IEC 61000-6-24, and UN38.3. It is certified for grid connectivity in 45 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia, highlighting CNTE’s commitment to providing robust energy solutions worldwide.
