Burton's Special Celebration Snowboards
Burton Snowboards is celebrating the remarkable achievements of its team riders—Mari Fukada, Teikatsu Hasegawa, and Mizuki Ono—with the launch of a limited edition 'Celebration Snowboards'. Scheduled to hit the shelves on April 14 at Burton's flagship store in Tokyo, Kanda, and online at Burton.com, this exclusive range pays tribute to the outstanding performances of these talented athletes during the season.
In January, Burton unveiled the impactful 'From Burton to the World' snowboard, featuring iconic quotes from the brand's founder, the late Jake Burton Carpenter. Each board showcased vibrant graphics inspired by six significant quotes that resonate with riders worldwide, fostering a connection to Jake's vision for snowboarding.
The upcoming 'Celebration Snowboards' are a commemorative line, creatively utilizing the same base as the original but enhanced with standout colors to reflect the unique spirit of each rider. Mari Fukada's model is designed with an elegant gold finish, while Teikatsu Hasegawa's boasts a striking silver palette. Mizuki Ono's representation is highlighted in a rich bronze tone, elegantly interspersed with a sleek black top sheet. Each model prominently displays the riders' logos along with their autographed graphics etched onto the boards.
Details & Pricing
The Celebration Snowboards are priced at
¥68,000 (including tax:
¥74,800) and will be available in sizes 149 cm and 155 cm, catering to various riding preferences both for newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts. This limited-edition range encourages riders to connect with the achievements of Fukada, Hasegawa, and Ono while enjoying new rides.
