Mazda Reports September Sales Figures, Observing Mixed Trends in Vehicle Performance

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has announced its total vehicle sales for September 2025, reporting a total of 26,169 units sold. This figure represents a 12.3% decrease compared to September 2024. With 24 selling days this September, compared to 23 days the previous year, the company noted an even steeper 16% drop when assessed via the Daily Selling Rate (DSR). On the bright side, the year-to-date sales have reached 319,664 vehicles, reflecting a modest 2% increase from the same timeframe in the previous year.

One significant aspect to highlight is the sales of certified pre-owned vehicles (CPO), which totalled 5,974 units, positioning itself with a 6.5% increase compared to September 2024. The overall CPO sales for the year stand at 56,523, showing a slight 0.1% growth over the prior year.

Key Highlights from September 2025 include the fact that this month marked the third-highest total sales for September since 1995, and the CX-50 achieved its best September performance with 8,876 units sold. On the other hand, the sales report also indicates varying performances across different models:
