Nerrissa began her professional journey at Price Waterhouse as a consultant, where she was quickly recognized for her abilities and advanced to a senior consultant role. Following IBM's acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers' management consulting division, she continued aiding various organizations in navigating complex technological deployments. However, a pivotal point came when she was assigned to a project with The Walt Disney Company in 2001. This partnership introduced Nerrissa to Disney's unique culture of creativity and collaboration, leading her to discover what she calls “Disney Pixie Dust.”

Innovating at Disney

In 2002, during Disney's significant SAP implementation, Nerrissa was presented with a unique opportunity to establish a new position: SAP Release Manager. Instead of merely filling an existing role, she was tasked with designing a position that would significantly influence the operation's success. She rose to the challenge, creating essential support systems that contributed to one of Disney's largest technology transformations. Notably, she established a call center to support over 50,000 cast members during the SAP rollout, ensuring operational stability during this comprehensive enterprise implementation.

Her technical skills paired with her operational expertise garnered the trust of Disney’s senior executives, leading to her permanent position in 2005. This marked the official beginning of her career as a Disney cast member.

Elevating Technology Operations

As Nerrissa's career evolved, so did the scope of her responsibilities within Disney. She successfully ascended to the role of Manager of Release and Application Operations, where she currently leads a team that coordinates major releases across Disney's critical enterprise platforms, such as SAP, Workday, Coupa, and Informatica.
