European Culinary Excellence Shines in the Charming Taste of Europe Campaign 2024

The Charming Taste of Europe Wraps Up a Successful Campaign in the U.S.

The fourth year of the "Charming Taste of Europe" campaign has brought impressive achievements in promoting European agricultural products among American consumers. Established in 2021 and financed by the European Union, this initiative is supported by notable organizations such as the Consortium for the Protection of Abruzzo Wines and the Bordeaux White Wines Consortium.

In 2024, the campaign participated in several major trade events, including the revered Slow Wine US Tour where the Abruzzo Wine Consortium showcased its rich heritage through informative seminars focused on the region's unique grape varieties. Additionally, the campaign was present at the Summer Fancy Food Show in 2024, further highlighting the rich tapestry of culinary excellence Europe has to offer.

A highlight of the campaign included exclusive educational trips for journalists to the renowned late harvest region of Bordeaux and the picturesque Abruzzo region. These trips provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to connect directly with passionate winemakers, immersing themselves in the traditions and stories behind each wine. Journalists experienced the beauty of these regions firsthand, strengthening their narratives about the authenticity and quality of European wines.

Throughout the year, the campaign also organized multiple masterclasses and trade dinners aimed at professionals and media. These events, held across various cities in the U.S., featured distinguished wine experts like Jeremy Parzen and Guy Stout, MS, ensuring participants gained deep insights into the distinctive qualities of Wines from Abruzzo and Bordeaux.
