On January 31 and February 1, 2024, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will host an exciting event titled
'Hydrogen-Powered Future City' at the
TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY. This event is designed for families of all ages to engage with hydrogen energy through a series of fun and educational activities. Coinciding with
Tokyo Hydrogen Day on February 1, which celebrates the significance of hydrogen's molecular weight (2.01), this event will feature a variety of attractions aimed at making hydrogen energy accessible to everyone.
Opening Event Features Celebrity Guest
The highlight of the opening event on January 31 at 11:00 AM will include special guest
Yu-Chami, a popular talent. She will participate in a talk session discussing hydrogen energy and engage in an interactive experience generating hydrogen using a pedal-powered generator. Additionally,
Charlie Nishimura, a renowned science entertainer, will host an engaging science show that will wow audiences of all ages.
