Karma Automotive Unveils Visionary Innovations at Create Karma 2025 Event

On March 20, 2025, Karma Automotive proudly hosted Create Karma 2025, a unique gathering that brought together industry innovators, educators, and community leaders to explore the future of automotive technology. This inspiring forum showcased groundbreaking advancements and highlighted the essential role of community collaboration in shaping the vehicle experiences of tomorrow.

The event revealed Karma's impressive plans to develop new career pathways for young professionals in Southern California, promoting workforce development in the fields of automotive, software, and clean energy. Marques McCammon, President of Karma Automotive, emphasized this initiative as a critical aspect of their commitment to contribute to the future of Southern California. He stated, “Create Karma is our platform to bring the industry, our partners, and our community together to tell our story, spark new ideas, and meaningfully contribute to the future.”

A Multi-Faceted Event

Create Karma 2025 was structured around three pivotal chapters: Community, Technology, and Experience, each serving to illustrate Karma's vision:

Community

Karma introduced the Clean Transportation Technology Collaborative, a partnership aimed at accelerating career pathways and job creation in the automotive, software, and clean energy sectors. Members of this collaborative include prominent organizations such as CerraCap Ventures, the Inland Southern California United Way, and various universities like UC Irvine and San Diego State University. This initiative emphasizes the importance of collaboration among education, workforce development, and business sectors.

Technology

In collaboration with Intel Automotive, Karma is pioneering the development of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). These vehicles promise to revolutionize manufacturing processes and driving experiences, making them smarter and more efficient. At the event, Karma showcased the progress of their joint efforts with Intel, demonstrating the transformative potential of SDVs and how they can leverage artificial intelligence for enhanced vehicle performance.

Experience

A highlight of Create Karma 2025 was the world premiere of the stunning Karma Amaris, the company's next-generation Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) performance coupe. This exclusive two-door coupe is expected to set new standards in luxury and efficiency. The Amaris features a powerful upgrade to Karma’s proven EREV powertrain, utilizing a larger, turbocharged four-cylinder internal combustion engine generator that promises exhilarating acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds.

The body of the Amaris showcases a blend of carbon fiber and aluminum, embodying both elegance and modern automotive design. Its aesthetic draws on the latest evolution of Karma's Comet Line design language, which originated from the Karma Kaveya super-coupe, capturing the spirit of innovation inherent to Karma's manufacturing philosophy.

The anticipated launch for the Amaris is set for the fourth quarter of 2026, with pricing details to be announced later. Karma's commitment to performance and sustainability is evident in all of its vehicle designs, ensuring that each model aligns with the company's vision for a carbon-neutral future.
