About the tama Original Calendar Project

The tama Original Calendar is created each year by collecting delightful photos from cat owners across the country. This year, they are specifically asking for photos to be featured in the 2026 edition of the calendar, covering the months from January to June. Future submissions for the July to December section will be announced later.

The application period runs from April 30th to May 25th, 2025. All cat owners are welcome to submit their entries, and there is no limit on the number of pictures one person can send. Those whose photos are chosen for publication will receive a 2,222 yen coupon that can be used at tama!

The Types of Photos We’re Looking For

To ensure the best results, tama provides guidelines on the types of photographs that will be considered:

• - Acceptable Examples:

- Clean and uncluttered backgrounds.
- Clear focus, highlighting the cat's features.
- Indoor settings with good lighting.

• - Unacceptable Examples:

- Dark, backlit photos.
- Blurry images of cats.
- Pictures containing people’s faces.
