Mayfair Gold Strengthens Leadership in Exploration and Resource Management

Mayfair Gold Corp. (TSXV: MFG, NYSE American: MINE) recently made headlines with the appointment of two notable professionals in the mining sector. Adree DeLazzer has been appointed as Vice President of Exploration, while Jean François Métail takes on the role of Vice President of Mineral Resource Management. This strategic move aims to bolster the company's exploration efforts and enhance its mineral resource management capabilities.

Adree DeLazzer: A Proven Leader in Mineral Exploration

Adree DeLazzer is a seasoned professional geologist with 20 years of hands-on experience in mineral exploration and mine-site geology across Canada. Her extensive background includes significant work on gold systems within the renowned Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Prior to joining Mayfair, DeLazzer served as Vice President of Exploration at Northern Superior Resources Inc., where she was pivotal in developing a comprehensive corporate exploration strategy. Her leadership drove multi-million-dollar exploration initiatives, leading to the successful acquisition and integration of key properties within the Chibougamau Gold Camp. Additionally, she played a crucial role during her tenure at Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. and Detour Gold Corporation, where she led exploration projects that contributed to substantial resource expansion.

At Mayfair, DeLazzer will be responsible for overseeing exploration activities across the company’s expanded land package, which now boasts an increase of over 65%. With her leadership, the focus will be on defining and prioritizing structurally controlled gold targets along the Destor-Porcupine Deformation Zone and enhancing near-mine opportunities to drive growth for the Fenn-Gib Project.

Jean François Métail: Expertise Anchoring Resource Management

Joining DeLazzer in this new phase of development is Jean François Métail, a geo-scientist with three decades of international experience in exploration and resource management. He previously worked with industry giants such as Barrick Gold and Detour Gold, where he held senior technical roles that focused on resource development and production reconciliation. His vast expertise encompasses resource modelling, QA/QC systems, and grade control.

Métail's new position at Mayfair will involve a broader scope of responsibilities designed to support the Fenn-Gib project. His prior consulting role with Mayfair has equipped him with the insights needed to add value in his expanded capacity. His leadership promises to deliver strategic guidance and geological oversight, ensuring optimal resource valuation and risk management as the project progresses toward production.

A Bright Future for Mayfair Gold

The appointments of DeLazzer and Métail reflect Mayfair Gold's commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities. Drew Anwyll, the company’s CEO, expressed confidence in the duo’s ability to advance the company’s exploration initiatives effectively. He stated that DeLazzer’s strong combination of practical experience and technical proficiency is crucial for unlocking the broader exploration potential of Mayfair's land holdings.

DeLazzer expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Mayfair team at this important phase of growth, emphasizing the promising opportunity presented by the Fenn-Gib Project and the potential to identify additional gold targets. With the ongoing development of the Fenn-Gib project, which aims for initial production by 2030, Mayfair is gearing up for significant advancements in its exploration pipeline.

As Mayfair Gold moves forward with its exploration strategy and further develops its land package, the expectations set by these key appointments signal a proactive approach to bolster resource validation and mine-site development in an ever-demanding mining industry.
