Unleashing Infinite Possibilities: Discover Your Butterfly Exhibition

On October 16, 2025, INTERSECT BY LEXUS - TOKYO will showcase an innovative interactive art installation titled 'Discover Your Butterfly - Butterfly is your symbol unrealized potential to make an impact on the world'. This captivating piece was first revealed during the Milan Design Week 2025 and is designed to inspire participants to explore new dimensions of their potential through technology.

For nearly a decade, LEXUS has engaged in the LEXUS DESIGN AWARD, an international design competition aimed at uncovering and supporting emerging creative talent dedicated to constructing a richer society through their innovative ideas. The recent Milan Design Week emphasized collaboration with its 'Discover Together' initiative, reinforcing collective creation. This artistic endeavor involved LEXUS in-house designers, the creative agency Bascule, and Northeastern University, all focusing on delivering a fresh perspective on technology-driven experiences.

The heart of the exhibition is 'Discover Your Butterfly', a project created by LEXUS in-house designers. This installation draws inspiration from the Butterfly Effect, where a single butterfly's flap wings can lead to significant global consequences. The art piece portrays a multitude of butterflies converging, symbolizing individual uniqueness that collectively contributes to organic and beautiful transformations in our world. Through the 'Black Butterfly', a window that unlocks unknown potential, visitors are invited to let their own butterflies take flight, ultimately discovering new versions of themselves.

The narrative of this installation highlights how every individual's small actions can lead to larger, meaningful changes in the world, urging viewers to reflect on their impact within their communities.

The exhibition at INTERSECT serves as a testament to LEXUS's vision regarding the infinite possibilities enabled by technology. Visitors can engage with this transformative experience, allowing them to understand the adjacency between technology and personal growth deeply.

Additionally, during this year's Milan Design Week, LEXUS also collaborated with the Tokyo-based creative agency SIX Inc. and design studio STUDEO to unveil the installation 'A-Un'. This project further explores the connection between technology and people, embodying LEXUS's vision of a future in mobility that fosters personal experiences while emphasizing human interaction, inspired once again by the concept of the 'Black Butterfly'.

For those interested, detailed information about the 'A-Un' exhibition can be found on the LEXUS website.
