Lumosenergy’s International Brand Launch in Munich

Lumosenergy, a leader in electric vehicle charging solutions, has officially launched its international brand during an event titled "Power in a New Light" at The Westin Grand Munich, part of the Power2Drive Europe 2026 exhibition. This significant moment marked the transition from the company's previous branding as Gresgying to its new identity as Lumosenergy.

The launch event gathered a diverse group of partners, fleet operators, charging point operators, technology providers, and media representatives from across Europe. Bill Li, the founder and CEO of Lumosenergy, along with the company’s European leadership team, provided insights into the brand's global vision, European strategy, and cutting-edge charging solutions for the future.

As one of the top three providers of electric vehicle chargers in China, Lumosenergy has made its mark as a pioneer in new energy technologies, evolving into a global player in EV charging solutions. In 2025, the company achieved significant milestones, such as delivering over 170,000 DC chargers across more than 50 countries, generating an impressive annual revenue exceeding $250 million, and employing over 1,300 people with a market capitalization of around $1 billion.

During the event, Lumosenergy showcased its Xi'an Mega Factory, a CO₂-neutral smart manufacturing facility spanning 220,000 square meters. This factory boasts an impressive annual production capacity of 200,000 DC charging points, 500,000 AC chargers, and energy storage systems with a capacity of 2.4 GWh, ensuring reliable and large-scale supply for international customers.

Lumosenergy introduced a product line tailored to the European market, which includes CE-certified AC chargers, all-in-one DC chargers, distributed charging systems with performance up to 1.44 MW, dynamic load management solutions, and energy solutions featuring integrated battery storage systems. The company’s innovation roadmap was also presented, highlighting upcoming technologies such as megawatt charging, mobile V2V DC charging, robotic charging arms, and autonomous mobile DC chargers, reflecting their philosophy of prioritizing quality and compliance before innovation.

Another focal point of the evening was Lumosenergy's commitment to enhancing its local presence in Europe. The company is dedicated to improving customer support through initial consultations, technical workshops, and expanding its international team beyond 70 employees, along with establishing an office in Düsseldorf. This initiative aims to bolster local customer service, enhance spare parts availability, and foster regional partnerships, thereby providing comprehensive support to clients throughout Europe.

The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Guo Fang, consul at the People's Republic of China in Munich, alongside European clients and strategic partners. A strategic cooperation agreement was signed with Phoenix Contact E-Mobility, further emphasizing Lumosenergy's focus on building a robust local partner network in Europe.

Through the introduction of the Lumosenergy brand, the company reaffirmed its global strategy based on quality, compliance, innovation, sustainability, and open collaboration, reflecting its mission to contribute to a smarter, cleaner, and more interconnected energy future.
