SINEXCEL Unveils StellaON 1250K/1575K for Large-Scale Energy Storage Solutions in Europe

Introduction

At the recent Intersolar Europe 2026, SINEXCEL proudly launched its latest product, the PCS StellaON 1250K/1575K. This innovative energy storage solution aims to revolutionize large-scale energy storage across Europe, adhering to new environmental resilience standards and addressing the industry's pressing need for renewable energy integration.

Features of the StellaON 1250K/1575K

Robust Performance

The StellaON is equipped with Infineon’s EconoDUAL™3 modules, ensuring low thermal resistance and allowing the system to consistently produce uninterrupted power output even at 55°C. This capability is 10°C higher than the industry average, effectively eliminating a 15-20% power reduction that typically occurs in high-temperature conditions.

Versatility and Reliability

Designed for extreme conditions, the StellaON boasts an IP65 rated enclosure and a corrosion-resistant C5 protection level. With a noise level of just 65 dB, it meets urban installation standards while functioning flawlessly in harsh environments. The system is compatible with demanding networks and large-scale applications, making it a comprehensive solution for various scenarios.

Grid-Forming Capabilities

To accommodate the latest requirements of the European grid, the StellaON features grid-forming capabilities with various operation modes, fulfilling roles such as PQ, VF, VSG, and SVG. The unit can sustain a surge of 1.5 times its rated power for 60 seconds, outperforming the industry average of 1.2. In addition, it supports black-start capabilities, allowing seamless network recovery, which is vital for large-scale energy deployments.

Lifecycle Efficiency

The StellaON is not only about performance; it is designed for maximum efficiency throughout its lifecycle. It achieves peak efficiency of 98.5% at full load with a roundtrip efficiency gain of 0.6%, drastically lowering the average storage costs. Its modular configurations range from 1 to 8 hours, catering flexibly to systems from 2.5 MW to 12.5 MW.

Cost and Maintenance Advantages

A remarkable feature of this innovative unit is its self-cleaning design, which reduces operational costs by 15% over its entire lifespan. With an astounding average time between failures exceeding 300,000 hours, the StellaON ensures a 99% uptime. Additionally, critical component replacements can be completed in under an hour, with total PCS replacements in less than two hours, marking it as a highly efficient power management solution.

International Deployment

Following its successful grid connection in Vietnam in March 2026, where it proved its reliability under extreme heat and humidity, the StellaON has amassed over 500 MW in orders within the first half of 2026 alone. Currently, more than 15 projects are underway for deployment across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, all while adhering to stringent network codes from countries such as Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Romania. Additionally, certifications for Spain and the USA are expected shortly.
