This fall, Grand Prairie, Texas will once again become a hotbed for culinary enthusiasts as the Shef Food + Wine Festival makes its long-awaited return from October 24 to 26, 2025. After its successful debut, the second annual festival promises not only delectable dishes but also impactful initiatives aimed at empowering the hospitality workforce.

Created by Chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, both renowned in the hospitality industry and founders of T2D Concepts, the festival aims to blend extraordinary culinary experiences with a purpose-driven philosophy. This year, attendees can look forward to a variety of exciting events highlighting accomplished chefs and unique dining opportunities.

Festival Highlights


The event will kick off on Friday, October 24, with a Restaurant Takeover at Radici Wood Fired Grill, featuring an exclusive four-course dinner crafted by master chefs. Guests seeking a different flavor can choose to participate in a spirited panel discussion titled "Wine and Whiskey Tasting" featuring industry experts Robin McBride and Fawn Weaver. To wrap up the first day, an After Party will provide a festive atmosphere for mingling and celebrating the start of the weekend.

The festivities will continue on Saturday with a unique Pickleball Tournament followed by a series of tastings and storytelling sessions. Attendees will indulge in expertly crafted cocktails and exceptional wines throughout the day, culminating in the highly anticipated Grand Tasting event. This evening affair will celebrate cuisine from some of the country's most renowned culinary talents, featuring notable chefs such as:

Community Impact


Beyond its culinary allure, the Shef F+W Festival is committed to social responsibility. This year, the festival will partner with the Texas Restaurant Foundation to continue supporting the RECIPE initiative—a workforce development platform intended to uplift hospitality workers through education and mentorship. Additionally, scholarships will be awarded to promising culinary students from the Dallas area, ensuring that the festival gives back to the community that hosts it.
