CNTE Unveils the STAR H-MAX at Intersolar Europe 2026
In a prominent showcase at Intersolar Europe 2026, hosted under the brand The smarter E Europe, Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) announced the launch of its latest innovation: the STAR H-MAX. This advanced generation of liquid-cooled energy storage systems is tailored for both commercial and industrial applications, further enriching CNTE’s versatile energy storage portfolio.
Set to be displayed at booth C2.450 from June 23 to 25 in Munich, the STAR H-MAX system is designed to meet evolving energy requirements with a robust capacity of 220kW and 440kWh. The compact all-in-one outdoor unit is engineered to facilitate peak shaving, backup power, and grid-connected energy management, making it a valuable asset for energy-intensive industries.
What sets the STAR H-MAX apart is its use of CATL LFP 530Ah battery cells, promising over 10,000 life cycles. The system supports both high power (0.5P) and long-duration (0.25P) dual configurations, allowing users to effectively balance between immediate energy demands and prolonged energy supply based on operational needs. Its transformer-free design integrates directly with load for commercial and industrial (CI) applications, cutting down on installation complexity, cost, and spatial requirements—a mere footprint of just 2.03 square meters. Additionally, the system supports parallel expansion up to 4.4 MWh, making it suitable for factories, industrial parks, and distributed energy projects.
To ensure consistent operation across varying environments, the STAR H-MAX incorporates AI-driven temperature control systems. It is capable of maintaining operational efficacy in temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 55 °C, while keeping thermal discrepancies at no more than 3 °C between cells. Quiet operation is also a hallmark of the STAR H-MAX, with noise levels capped at 65 dB, making it applicable in noise-sensitive settings.
Harnessing resilience and advanced grid services, the STAR H-MAX supports seamless grid and off-grid switching through STS technology, providing swift response times for frequency regulation in under 250 milliseconds at the system level. This functionality allows the system to be utilized in various applications, such as automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR), manual Frequency Restoration Reserve (mFRR), and Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR).
The STAR H-MAX is not just innovative in technology but also compliant with multiple international certifications including IEC 62619, IEC 63056, IEC 60730-1, IEC 62477-1, IEC 61000-6-2, and UN38.3. It has received certification for grid connection across 45 different countries spanning Europe, Africa, and Asia, showcasing its international viability and regulatory adherence.
