Dress for Success® Launches Women Who Inspire Campaign for Women's Empowerment

Dress for Success® Worldwide is excited to announce the relaunch of its esteemed Women Who Inspire campaign for 2026. This initiative, which serves as a tribute to remarkable women across the globe, coincides with International Women's Day and Women's History Month.

The primary goal of this online campaign is to honor women whose inspiring journeys embody resilience, determination, and transformation. Featured in the campaign are selected women beneficiaries from Dress for Success's global network of 130 members spanning 15 countries. These honorees include women leaders in various sectors who are making substantial strides in promoting equal opportunities for women.

According to Joanie Bily, the executive director of Dress for Success Worldwide, “The disparities and barriers faced in the workforce are not just theoretical; they are tangible and persistent. There is a significant opportunity to broaden access for women in a rapidly evolving professional landscape.” The campaign not only seeks to raise essential funds but also aims to provide free programs and increase access and opportunities for women worldwide.

The KnitWell Group is the presenting sponsor for the Women Who Inspire campaign, supported by its well-known American brands, including Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, LOFT, and Talbots. Barbara Wagner, Brand President at Talbots, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to back the Women Who Inspire 2026 campaign. Our brands have a long-standing commitment to supporting women and our communities through over two decades of collaboration with Dress for Success. We take pride in helping expand life-changing programs and providing free resources to more women. When women receive support, communities thrive.”

In addition to KnitWell Group, other supporting organizations include Sono Bello, Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits, The Adecco Group US Foundation, Capital One, and FedEx, alongside media partner Gear Communications.

A collective of influential voices known as Star Power also champions the Women Who Inspire initiative. Among them is renowned makeup artist, entrepreneur, and bestselling author Bobbi Brown, who will lead this year's honorees. Brown has been a long-time supporter of Dress for Success, believing in its mission to empower women. “Empowering women to feel confident inside and out has been my life’s work,” Brown expresses, highlighting the benefit of the organization's mission in facilitating transformative experiences for women.

Tamsen Fadal, an award-winning journalist and filmmaker, will also take a prominent role in the campaign as she leads the group of honorees and the Star Power initiative. Fadal remarked, “Supporting women in their transitions is one of the most crucial initiatives we can undertake. Dress for Success lays down real foundations for the future, and it is a privilege to support a mission that truly changes lives.”

Women Who Inspire marks the inaugural initiative following the global rebranding of Dress for Success, a year-long campaign intended to accelerate economic mobility for women while transforming futures. This initiative is a celebration of the evolving identity and purpose of Dress for Success, ensuring alignment with the changing needs and gaps that women encounter in the workforce.

The culmination of the Women Who Inspire campaign will feature a live event titled “CHEERS TO HER,” organized by KnitWell Group in New York City on March 26, 2026. Tickets are available online for those looking to celebrate and contribute to this worthy cause.
