Experience the Unique Photography Exhibition of Hitsujibungaku in Shibuya this August
From August 7 to 31, 2025, Seibu Shibuya will host an exciting photo exhibition in collaboration with the alternative rock band Hitsujibungaku, marking the third event of its kind. This exhibition, titled "Hitsujibungaku Asia Tour 2025 'Right Now, Right Here.' Live at Nippon Budokan Photo Exhibition," showcases photographs taken by talented photographer Daiki Miura during the band's first-ever performance at the iconic Nippon Budokan.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase an array of striking photographs, including special A1-size framed versions, posters, and postcards designed specifically for this exhibition. This event is a unique chance for fans to intimately connect with the band's journey and live performances through stunning visual storytelling.
Founded by Moeka Shiozuka (Vocals, Guitar) and Yurika Kawanishi (Bass), Hitsujibungaku is celebrated for their delicate yet powerful soundscapes. They made their major debut in 2020 under the F.C.L.S. label, a subsidiary of Sony Music. Hitsujibungaku achieved significant success in 2023 when their second full album, "Our Hope," won the prestigious grand prize at the CD Shop Awards. Additionally, their song "More Than Words," which served as the ending theme for the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, reached a remarkable milestone, exceeding 200 million streams globally and earning a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
As they prepare for an exciting 2025, Hitsujibungaku will release their fifth full album, "Don't Laugh It Off," followed by an array of performances, including a long-anticipated US tour in April and a domestic tour featuring major venues like Nippon Budokan in September. They will also embark on a nationwide hall tour titled "Hitsujibungaku TOUR 2026: Just a Breath" featuring concerts at the National Yoyogi Stadium, First Gymnasium, and planned additional performances in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Their journey is a testament to their well-deserved place in the contemporary music scene.
