Pasona Masters Initiates Free Generative AI Beginner Course
In a recent survey conducted by Pasona Masters, approximately 40% of middle-aged and senior respondents revealed they had never utilized generative AI despite a notable awareness of the technology. This initiative highlights the need for tailored educational resources in today's digital landscape, particularly for an older demographic.
Pasona Masters (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, led by President Mitsusako Nakada) aimed to understand how middle-aged and senior individuals are engaging with generative AI through a comprehensive questionnaire targeting their registered users. The results indicated that while nearly 80% of the participants recognized the concept of generative AI, a significant portion remained hesitant to adopt it, with numerous citing reasons such as lack of understanding and security concerns.
The rapid evolution of generative AI in various sectors—ranging from improving work efficiency to enhancing creative processes—has underscored the importance of educational initiatives. Particularly among the middle-aged and elderly, gaps in learning opportunities have prevented many from leveraging AI's potential. However, these professionals reportedly possess a rich reservoir of experience and decision-making skills, making them highly compatible with AI applications.
To address these challenges, Pasona Masters will be launching a
free 'Generative AI Beginner Course' on February 13, 2026. This course is specifically designed for those currently employed through Pasona Masters and for members of the 'Pasona Current' learning platform. The program intends to assist first-time users in comfortably navigating the complexities of generative AI, breaking down its fundamental components, benefits, and practical applications in the workplace.
The curriculum will not only cover essential AI concepts but also emphasize safety measures, including confidentiality and adherence to internal regulations. This approach is crafted to alleviate apprehensions surrounding digital skills, ensuring that participants can progress at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a 'Generative AI Beginner Course Completion Certification.' Additionally, starting in April 2026, learners will have the opportunity to enroll in more advanced paid courses through 'Pasona Current' to deepen their practical skills using generative AI.
Pasona Masters is dedicated to promoting lifelong learning for middle-aged and senior workers, aiming to foster an environment where they can continuously thrive regardless of age. The introduction of this course is a step towards empowering these individuals to enhance efficiency in their job roles and expand their professional capabilities.
