ANIMEK - The Second Edition is Coming!

We are excited to announce that ANIMEK, Japan's widely praised cosplay event, is returning for its second edition! Scheduled for May 24, 2026, at the stunning Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall and Rinkō Park in the vibrant Minato Mirai district, this event promises an unforgettable experience for both beginners and seasoned cosplayers alike.

Event Overview

This year, ANIMEK will utilize outdoor spaces at Rinkō Park, expanding its area and offering a range of new programs that enhance participant interaction. From photography seminars to posing boot camps and even a cosplay sports day, there will be something for everyone. The diverse range of content aims to create a safe and enjoyable environment where all participants, from newcomers to veterans, can thrive.

Highlights of the Second Edition

The first edition of ANIMEK was a great success, held in November 2025, due to the passion of our producer, Keeko, a professional cosplayer. With valuable feedback from participants, we are thrilled to introduce various experiential programs:

• - Posing Boot Camps with professional instructors
• - Cosplay Outdoor Sports, promoting community-building among participants
• - Opportunities for commercial use and sale ofoutlet cosmetics, enhancing participant value even further.

Attendees can look forward to several exciting activities:
1. Location Shooting Seminar
- Time: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM (90 minutes)
- Location: Rinkō Park
- Instructor: 884 (Photography Expert)
- Cost: ¥3,000 (Entry ticket not included)
2. Posing Boot Camp
- Time: Two sessions (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
- Instructor: Mameyama (Former Suit Actor)
- Cost: ¥1,000 per session (Entry ticket not included)
3. Cosplay Sports Day
- Time: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
- Fun community activities with prizes!
- Cost: ¥1,500 (Entry ticket not included)
