Discover the Exciting 'Statue Carnival' at the 2025 Tokyo Street Performance Festival

Experience the Magic of Street Performances in Tokyo

This November, Tokyo's scenic Nerima Castle Ruins Park transforms into a vibrant stage for the 2025 Street Performance Festival, happening alongside the must-see Statue Carnival on the 7th, 8th, and 9th. Following the phenomenal success of last year’s event, which captivated over 200,000 visitors in Nakano and featured encore performances in September, the festival returns to the urban landscape with a promise to enchant festival-goers amidst the brilliant colors of autumn.

The free-to-enter festival combines art and performance, ensuring everyone can enjoy the incredible talents of street performers throughout the day. Over 80 of Japan’s top street artists, as well as performers from around the globe, will showcase their skills in a series of exciting acts. These performers are known for their unique talents, specializing in everything from statue performances to stunning illusions.

The mind behind this ambitious event is none other than Norihisa Ito, the mastermind behind popular competitions such as the U-1 Grand Prix and NB-1 Grand Prix. With his innovative vision, he has successfully brought a fresh breeze to local street performance scenes that have suffered from a lack of diversity and innovation. Under his command, you can expect a dynamic festival that redefines what a street performance event can be.

In addition to the open performances held from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM daily, the festival includes a special evening segment. Night Stage performances will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for guests who purchase tickets. This highlights prestigious acts and gives attendees an opportunity to enjoy exclusive performances by renowned artists. Those who buy tickets in advance can even enjoy a meet-and-greet with the performers after their shows.

The participants of the Statue Carnival will include local and international talents, such as:
  • - Baimu Baron (Statue Performance)
  • - Magician SEID (Statue Performance)
  • - Hypnotist Junichi (Street Performance)
  • - Doremi Republic (Statue Performance)
  • - And many more...
Expect exhilarating shows, interactive performances, and a glorious celebration of creativity and skill.
