PLANTERS® Brand at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: A Century of Celebration
This Thanksgiving, a significant milestone will be celebrated with the return of the PLANTERS® brand to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®, coinciding with the parade's centennial march. The float will prominently feature the beloved MR. PEANUT®, who is marking his 110th birthday, alongside PLANTERS®' own 120th anniversary. This year's float is designed to commemorate the evolution of MR. PEANUT® and is set to delight audiences along the parade route.
The new float takes center stage with a spectacular Ferris wheel that showcases the character's transformation, starting from his original design, made by a 14-year-old in 1916, to his contemporary style. As the float travels down Broadway towards Herald Square, attendees will be treated to a unique show, including peanut-shaped confetti bursting from MR. PEANUT®'s signature top hat.
