Hollyland's WeConnect 2025 Event Celebrates Global Creativity and Cultural Exchange
Hollyland's WeConnect 2025 Campaign: A Celebration of Global Creativity
On September 12, 2025, Hollyland wrapped up its WeConnect 2025 campaign, concluding nearly two months of activities designed to celebrate creativity and cultural exchange worldwide. Centered around the theme of CONNECTION, this initiative transcended geographical and cultural boundaries, fostering intercultural exploration and creative engagement.
A Cultural and Technological Journey
At the heart of the campaign was the WeConnect 2025 China Tour, which brought together over 30 global creators. Notable participants included Landon Bytheway from the online film school FTF, digital content creator Jairo Eslava, and Indonesian actor and YouTuber Chandra Liow. The tour kicked off on August 27, 2025, at Hollyland's headquarters in Shenzhen, marking the start of an immersive five-day experience.
The initial activities aimed to break the ice and establish quick connections among participants, followed by hands-on experiences that utilized Hollyland's advanced laser engraving microphone technology and the latest in live streaming cameras, the VenusLiv Air. A face-to-face discussion forum allowed for in-depth exploration of ideas and collaborative discussions.
In Chongqing, the tour evolved into a cultural immersion. Participants enjoyed a lively evening filled with traditional hotpot, dialect-based games, Sichuan opera face-changing performances, and tea ceremonies showcasing long-spouted teapots. This cultural deep dive immersed creators in some of the city’s most vibrant traditions. Scenic visits to the Floating Forest and the stunning swings at Raffles City provided a breathtaking backdrop, merging urban landscapes with natural beauty, inspiring fresh visual storytelling approaches.
On August 30, participants transformed into storytellers, capturing the rhythm of Chongqing through their lenses. From the metro navigating through skyscrapers to the illuminated night views at Hongyadong, each shot encapsulated the city's vibrant energy and contrasts. The final day involved portrait sessions in a historic photo studio, engaging with intangible cultural heritage practices like ink rubbing and hand moxibustion, fostering a deeper emotional connection with local culture.
Throughout this journey, creators experienced Hollyland's cutting-edge technology while understanding how Chinese innovation integrates into everyday life. This multi-day experience revealed diverse cultural practices, encouraging participants to evolve from general observations to profound personal appreciations. The co-creative environment prompted them to promote diversity, establish constructive connections, and work toward common goals, ultimately transforming the tour into a genuine union of culture, collaboration, and connection.
Expanding Global Creativity
The China tour concluded with a special version of the Hollyland Academy, spanning nine countries. Each event included local cultural experiences within creative workshops, ranging from preparing Egyptian salads and Emirati seafood to Brazilian barbecue and soccer matches, as well as exploring temples in Thailand. These activities enriched participants' creative toolkits by integrating technology into their learning process, aligning with WeConnect's mission to blend cultural inspiration with skill development.
Amplifying Voices Through Sound and Stories
Hollyland invited global audiences to engage and co-create in the digital realm. The Sound Museum became a highlight, wherein participants expressed 5,044 sound impressions from their daily lives, languages, and emotions. From urban soundscapes to personal expressions, the project evolved into a collective
