TCL Launches New TAB A1 Series at IFA 2026

The TCL TAB A1 series boasts models with either an 11-inch or 12.2-inch display. The 11-inch versions emphasize portability, while the larger TAB A1 Plus models cover a more expansive workspace for entertainment and productivity. Within each size category, the standard display models offer everyday entertainment options, while the NXTPAPER models are optimized for reading, studying, and extended use.

For those who frequently transport their tablets between home, school, and work, the 11-inch TCL TAB A1 combines a slim profile of just 6.2mm with a resolution of 2.1K and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. On the other hand, the 12.2-inch TCL TAB A1 Plus offers a higher resolution of 2.4K, an aspect ratio of 32, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, providing ample screen space for movies, web browsing, documents, and multitasking with split-screen functionality.

Enhanced Viewing Experience

Another differentiating aspect is the display type. Standard display models deliver crisp and fluid visuals ideal for streaming and web browsing. In contrast, the NXTPAPER display models appeal to users who spend longer hours on their tablets reading, studying, or working. Features such as anti-reflective coatings, glare reduction, and hardware blue light regulation create a more comfortable viewing experience across diverse content types.

Featuring the TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER

At the forefront of this series, the TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER integrates a 12.2-inch display with 2.4K resolution, NXTPAPER technology, and productivity-focused hardware. Equipped with a dedicated NXTPAPER Key, users can quickly switch between three display modes: a standard mode for colorful entertainment, a Color Paper mode for a softer touch when viewing illustrated content and web pages, and an Ink Paper mode designed for focused black-and-white viewing. Moreover, customizable gestures facilitate faster access to AI functions, apps, and the NXTPAPER interface.

Android 16 and Productivity Features
