This limited-time experience will take place from September 5 to September 28, 2026, allowing visitors a unique opportunity to engage with belugas as part of the celebration marking 50 years since the facility first began housing these remarkable creatures in Japan.

What is the Beluga Premium Plan?

The Beluga Premium Plan is designed to offer an extraordinary experience centered around the beloved beluga whales. Participants will have a chance to learn about these fascinating animals, including how their unique anatomy adapts to their cold Arctic environment. The rounded part of their head, known as the "melon," is generously covered in blubber, serving as insulation and aiding in echolocation. But what does it feel like? With the Premium Plan, you’ll find out firsthand!

Activities in the Premium Plan:

1. Touch the Beluga: An unforgettable moment where you can feel the beluga’s melon while capturing a commemorative photo during this unique interaction.
2. Beluga Backyard Observation: Get a behind-the-scenes look at the baby belugas that have been making waves on social media!
3. Special Lecture by Caregivers: Learn from the experts about the biology and behavior of belugas in an informative session.
4. Special Night with Orca: After hours, enjoy a spectacular orca performance that is exclusively available for participants.
5. Dinner at Ocean Restaurant: Savor a culinary feast with a buffet-style dinner featuring a main plate while enjoying views of the ocean and its inhabitants.
6. Night Adventure: Engage in additional activities that enhance the experience under the stars.

Premium Plan Details

• - Dates: September 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 26, 27, 28 of 2026. Eight available days.
• - Duration: Approximately 4 hours of engagement from 4:15 PM to 8:00 PM.
• - Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years old or older.
• - Capacity: Limited to 45 participants per day, with a minimum of 15 required to hold the event.
• - Fee:

- Adults 17,000 yen
- DDC members 15,000 yen
*Dinner costs are included in the fee.

Registration Information

Reservations will be accepted through a Google Form from August 8, 2026 (9:00 AM) to August 15, 2026 (4:00 PM). Results of a lottery for available slots will be communicated via email on or after August 18, 2026.

Please note that events can be canceled due to unforeseen animal care needs or severe weather conditions, such as typhoons.
