Shangri-La Tokyo Unveils Four Exquisite New Cocktails Starting March 16

New Cocktail Offerings at Shangri-La Tokyo



Starting from March 16, 2026, Shangri-La Tokyo will debut four exquisite new cocktails, crafted under the guidance of the celebrated bartender Shingo Gokan, the founder of SG GROUP. This initiative aims to elevate the bar experience for both local patrons and international visitors, highlighting the beautiful blend of Japanese culture and global bartending excellence.

As travel resumes and the number of overseas visitors in Japan increases, Shangri-La Tokyo seeks to enhance its bar offerings in its lounge and bar, the Lobby Lounge. The collaboration with SG GROUP stems from a shared vision of spreading the bar culture rooted in global experiences and promoting Japan's craftsmanship to the world. This partnership promises to forge new values and memorable experiences through meticulously crafted cocktails that reflect the spirit of Shangri-La Tokyo.

The cocktails include:

  • - Highball Blanc: Utilizing a distilled spirit derived from muscat grapes, this cocktail combines cashew fruit, jasmine, and vetiver for aroma. It features a refreshing and elegant taste reminiscent of white wine, with the rich flavor of grapes.

  • - Strawberry Monaka: This cocktail features a delicious fusion of strawberries and monaka, inspired by traditional Japanese sweets. Made with rice-based vodka, it includes roasted brown rice tea infused with almond milk and walnut paste, creating a gentle sweetness that evokes the essence of strawberry monaka.

  • - Sunshine Margarita: A tropical sensation that combines ripe mango and passion fruit with sour mead, this cocktail offers a bright acidity reminiscent of the sun-drenched tropics. The flavor is further enriched with a subtle spice mix of cumin, coriander, and white sesame, adding depth to the taste.

  • - Shangroni: A tribute to Shangri-La's Asian aesthetic, this cocktail is a white negroni infused with ginger-scented gin, clear campari, lemongrass, and vanilla. The drink is completed with a charred bay leaf, offering a delicate smoky note with each sip.

These cocktails will be served from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lobby Lounge on the 28th floor, priced at 2,860 yen each. Guests can escape the city's hustle and bustle to enjoy a serene atmosphere while savoring these innovative drinks.
