Kuroyume Thrills 7,000 Fans at Tokyo Garden Theater Concert

On September 6, 2026, Kuroyume took the stage at the Tokyo Garden Theater for their widely anticipated concert,
"THE PERFECT DAYS TO DIE", attracting an enthusiastic crowd of approximately 7,000 fans. The event, organized by HEEK Co., Ltd., which manages the legendary musician Kiyoharu, showcased Kuroyume’s consistent impact on the Japanese rock scene since their debut in 1994.

The excitement had been building since their three-day performance at Toyota Arena Tokyo from July 17 to 19, which featured songs from their recently released self-cover albums
"Drug TReatment 2026" and "CORKSCREW 2026". On stage at the Garden Theater, Kuroyume demonstrated their dynamic presence and artistic growth, captivating the audience from the very first note.

The concert commenced with the powerful track "FAKE STAR," as Kiyoharu's piercing vocals intertwined with Jin's deep bass, igniting a wave of cheers that enveloped the venue.
The momentum continued with songs like "SPOON & CAFFEINE" and "DRIVE," where Kiyoharu engaged with the crowd, drawing enthusiastic responses and elevating the energy in the arena. As the set progressed, it seamlessly shifted gears, with the song "NITE & DAY" providing a moment of respite before propelling the audience back into fervor with tracks like "MASTURBATING SMILE" and "FASTER BEAT."

During the mid-set, Kiyoharu spoke about their upcoming nationwide Zepp tour scheduled for 2027, hinting at an added venue, which led to an eruption of excitement among fans. The two dynamic performers, Kiyoharu and Jin, exhibited their signature banter, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for the audience. The performance surged forward with hits like "C.Y.HEAD", "CANDY", and "後遺症-aftereffect-", with Kiyoharu rallying the crowd while fists pumped in enthusiastic response.

As the performance neared its climax, Kiyoharu and Jin donned matching jumpsuits designed in collaboration with VIRGOWEARWORKS and stylish lace-up boots. They kicked off the encore with "LAST PLEASURE", followed by fan favorites such as "少年" and "BEAMS", each note met with resounding applause. Kiyoharu explained that the jumpsuits were not off-the-shelf items but bespoke creations, piquing fans' interest in potential merchandise drops. The encore continued to deliver as they performed "カマキリ" and "NEEDLESS", showcasing their relentless energy.

Before the show came to an end, Kiyoharu took a moment to express gratitude to the audience. Reflecting on their revival after a hiatus, he acknowledged the dedicated fans who stood by Kuroyume through the years, stating, "You all have kept our DNA alive." He emphasized the importance of the connection with their audience over mere commercial success, calling it a true embodiment of rock and roll. As the final song, "Like A Angel" resonated through the venue, the collective voices of the crowd united with Kiyoharu's, bringing a poignant close to an unforgettable night.
