ExQ Launches National IMPACT ExQ Contest
On October 16, 2025, ExQ, founded by Sucheta Kamath, announced a national video contest called the IMPACT ExQ Contest. This initiative invites both students and teachers to share personal stories that illustrate how participating in ExQ's training has improved their Executive Function skills. The contest focuses on recognizing the substantial benefits of honing these skills, which play a crucial role in enhancing academic performance, personal aspirations, and interpersonal relationships.
What is Executive Function?
Executive Function encompasses a set of cognitive capacities that include working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. These skills are vital for managing tasks, setting and achieving goals, and adapting to changing circumstances in everyday life. ExQ aims to foster these skills among learners, helping them navigate challenges both inside and outside of the classroom.
How to Participate
To take part in the IMPACT ExQ Contest, participants are encouraged to reflect on how their journey with ExQ has influenced their life and academic success. They will then create a video showcasing their transformation through Executive Function training. Entries must highlight personal experiences, detailing the positive influence of improved cognitive abilities.
Students and teachers will have a chance to win scholarship awards as incentives for their creative submissions. Specifically, students can earn a $100 Scholarship Award, while teachers can win $250. Not only does participation offer financial benefits, but it also allows winners and their schools to gain recognition for their efforts in striving for excellence in education.
Celebration and Announcement
Winners will not only receive monetary rewards but are also invited to celebrate Georgia's Executive Function Day with Sucheta Kamath at the Georgia Capitol. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of Executive Function skills in educational settings. The deadline for video submissions is January 30, 2026, with winners slated to be announced on February 25, 2026, via the ExQ website.
Sucheta Kamath expressed excitement about the contest, stating, “We see transformational changes happening in our ExQ schools as students learn new strategies for building independence, self-sufficiency, and self-management.” Kamath emphasized the profound impact these skills have on students' ability to face learning challenges and life's obstacles, empowering them to realize their potential.
The Power of Storytelling
The IMPACT ExQ Contest encourages students and teachers to articulate their journeys, promoting a culture of sharing and growth. The selected videos will feature on ExQ's social media accounts, showcasing the diverse and inspiring narratives of participants across the nation. This initiative not only highlights individual stories but also strives to build a supportive community focused on educational advancement.
